Many educators are trying to shift their one-sided teaching styles to more interactive
ones. These days, collaborative learning is positively used with ICT by many teachers.
However, collaborative learning is frequently confused with cooperative learning due to their similarities. This article discusses the concept of collaborative learning comparing with cooperative learning and other concepts. Finally, the relationship between collaborative learning and ICT use in the EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classroom at elementary schools is discussed, and three elements of the ideal collaborative learning with ICT use are presented.
