| 内容記述 | Seeing from some theoretical points of view, a negative judgment on someone’s birth does not necessarily mean a negative judgment on his or her existence. In this meaning, it is possible to distinguish the estimation of birth from the value of existence. However, those who regard it as an especially important fact for someone’s identity that he or she was born in a certain condition will not accept such a distinction. But on the other hand, the way of interpreting some ethical problems about human procreation (e.g. wrongful life suits) changes greatly depending on whether or not to make such a distinction. | |||||
