内容記述 This study aims to implement and evaluate self-reliance activity for a student with physical disabilities, based on the concept of fostering independence in their activities. The purpose is to consider strategies for instructional planning and support that enable the target student to actively engage in learning activities. The subject of this study is a male student with cerebral palsy who are in the 6th grade and enrolled in a special support class at an elementary school. Over the course of 12 sessions of self-reliance activities, various tasks were undertaken to improve walking performance, including tasks related to ankle relaxation, maintaining a kneeling posture, and walking. Over these 12 sessions, improvements were observed in the subjects’ ability to maintain a kneeling posture and his walking performance. While in the midst of self-reliance activities, it was noted that the student had previously experienced anxiety and a decrease in motivation when faced with difficult or new tasks. However, he exhibited a willingness to take on new challenges. Additionally, he showed an inclination to understand his own body’s state. Notably, he not only engaged in self-reliance activities during the sessions but also demonstrated motivation to work on movement-related tasks at home. As key points for this success, it was concluded that : 1. Explanation using words and videos to ensure that the tasks are understood by the children. 2. Accumulating successful experiences. 3. Establishing communication and creating a positive learning atmosphere are crucial in the process of self-reliance activities.
