| 内容記述 | CT検査においては、spiral CT や multi-detector CT の普及によって1日あたりの検査件数は増加し、1検査あたりの撮影枚数も増えた。胸部CTでは肺野条件と縦隔条件で観察できるので、続影枚数はさらに増加する。同時に、焼付けるフィルム枚数の増加も著しい。そこで、これらの問題点を解決する方法のひとつとして、CT画像表示におけるnon-linear window の応用が考えられる。non-linear window は、CT値とCT画像をプリントしたときの写真濃度を単一の直線関係にするのではなく、様々に設定することができる。そのひとつの方法として、dual-window display またはdouble window display があり、ひとつの画面にふたつの異なるwindow条件の画像を同時に表示することができるが、その応用は限局される。そこで、今回は頭部、胸部、腹部CTに応用できるnon-linear window について基礎的検討を行い、臨床的応用を試みて改良を加え報告する。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The images of computed tomography(CT) have been displayed in the linear window, which have gray level in proportion to the CT value between the upper and lower level. Narrow linear window is needed for the good visualization, but cannot display the objects over the upper level and under the lower level. Therefore, radiologists have to observe many images in different display, and have to print many films. To resolve these problems, non-linear window display was applied. Non-linear window display have gray level according to the pattern of non-linear curve within the wide window width. Objects of very high and low CT value can be displayed in the good gray window. But non-linear window display have seam artifact between two objects of slight different CT value. Some modification was necessary to reduce seam artifact, but was not perfect. For the good visualization of non-linear window, further study was necessary. | |||||
