| 内容記述 | Huang Xiang has often been evaluated a political pet. In this paper, however, I would like to argue that he is not a political poet, but a philosophical poet who seeks for the depth of the human soul. I also argue that he attempts to explore the essence of human beings as a whole in terms of contemplating between the Western concept of "Time" and the Oriental concept of "Existence". Thus we come to comprehend the philosophical way for him to be a cosmopolitan substantiated by the fundamental idea of "the same root/origin for all things animate/inanimate." | |||||||||||
