| 内容記述 | Discussion on Chihei Nakamura cannot exclude the relation with 'the south'. Befor "During my trip", his longing for the south mainly had a strong tendency of the exoticism. However, "During my trip" portraying the trips to the colony Taiwan and Kyushu, showed signs of admiration for 'the south' of 'the inland', and 'the south' symbolized more than exoticism. By looking at the both works of "During my trip" which tells the unfortunate story of Otoshi-san he met on his trip, and "The mole dropped dead" which has the tehdency of 'southern literature', this study discusses 'the south' as a symbol, tracing Nakamura Chihei's viewpoint from 'the outland' to 'the inland' and then to 'the south' of 'the inland'. | |||||
