| 内容記述 | The temperature dependence of the second-order elastic constants of PbF2 is calculated by using a thermodynamic relation. It is shown that the model reproduces relatively well the experimental values of the elastic constants C11, C12 and C44 from room temperature to around 600 K. With the increase of temperature, the calculated values of the elastic constants start to deviate accompanying the increase of the ionic conductivity. The result indicates that in the case of PbF2, the material parameters evaluated at a reference temperature, the room temperature in the present case, can not be extrapolated to high temperatures and that the model for the elastic constant used widely in the literature should be used carefully. | |||||
