内容記述 | We investigated temperature dependence of wavelength modulated (WM) absorption spectra for studying stress effects on a Cu2O thin film. In these spectra, 2P~4P spectral structures can be clearly detected in both yellow and green excitons even at 180 K. From temperature dependences of these resonance energy, one can find that, because of a difference in the thermal variation of the lattice constant between Cu2O and MgO, the band gap energies of these excitons systems in the thin film vary in different behaviors from those in Cu2O bulk crystals. By comparing our experimental results and Trebin’s model, it is understood that this difference is caused by a symmetrical difference of the valence bands between the yellow (Γ+ 7 ) and green (Γ+ 8 ) exciton systems in Cu2O. | |||||
