This research was done on high school students and their guardians in order to understand their consciousness and the actual conditions of sex education. An investigation by questionnaire was conducted which targeted high school students and their guardians. Its results showed that guardians have strong concerns about sex education in school, although there is puzzlement about sex education in the home, and it became clear that they have many expectations about sex education. On the other hand, although the high school students did not have expectations like guardians, it became clear that they do not feel satisfied with the present sex education, and would like to learn more. It is desirable that guardians also teach these things to their children. Furthermore, in order for high school students to study sex education, it was suggested that its support in both school and home is important, and it is important that the school and guardians have a mutual understanding of that. |
