| 内容記述 | Recently the therapeutic power of humour and laughter has been attracting interest in various health-care settings. Although laughter and humour can have a similar therapeutic effect as music, such as reducing stress, strengthening the immune system, etc., there are few studies in music therapy that connect the two and the use of humour is not widespread enough in music therapy sessions. The author has been integrating laughter and music therapy for several years and found the theory of incongruity useful, for example, in parodies or musical comedy of old popular songs. Furthermore, the author considers the benign violation theory of McGraw can indicate some direction for the practical use of laughter and humour, especially in creating a warm atmosphere for music therapy. The author analyses several past examples from her sessions using McGraw's theory and considers some more effective techniques. | |||||||||||
