内容記述 Due to the expansion of COVID-19, Japanese universities were temporarily closed all at once. The students were concerned about various harmful effects, but it was thought that the effects were also significant at the student service institutions. The purpose of this study was to clarify the impact of the expansion of COVID-19 by conducting an interview survey with counselors and support coordinators belonging to university counseling institutions. And the purpose of the survey was to obtain suggestions for building a meaningful consultation system. Interviews were conducted with staff from five universities around Japan using a web conferencing system. Case 1 was a part-time counselor at a private university who was not able to enter the university when the infection spread. Case 2 was a counselor who also served as a private university, and a part-time counselor could not enter the school, increasing the work burden. Case 3 was a full-time counselor at a national university, and the number of consultations decreased due to the spread of infection. Case 4 was a full-time support coordinator at a private university, who has received many consultations since the beginning of the spread of the infection and actively held teacher training sessions. Case 5 was a full-time support coordinator at a national university, and there was an increase in consultations not only for undergraduate students but also for graduate students. Based on the above, it was suggested that it is necessary to establish a stable position for support staff and to establish a new consultation desk that can respond online. It was also suggested that it is necessary to actively raise awareness of the harmful effects of online lessons, share information, and promote university-wide efforts to prevent maladaptation.
