| 内容記述 | In this report, we examine the results of introduction of social work in Japanese public agencies conducted by the General Headquarters of the Allied Forces/Public Health and Welfare Section （GHQ/PHW） after World War II. F. Blueger, a GHQ/PHW member who played a leading role in the project to introduce social work in Japan, strongly favored environmental determinism case work. However, Japanese specialists in social work preferred psychanalysis-based case work, which was dominant in the US at the time. Thus, the social work education curriculum was established based on this type of case work because the GHQ/PHW did not interfere in details of the education. | |||||
