| 内容記述 | This paper provides a preliminary study of the thesis that virtue is a skill, or that virtue and skill are alike, to clarify how to think about it. First, I will take up Julia Annas’ discussion （Annas 1995） of the similarity between virtue and skill to see what position she takes. Next, I will take up the arguments of Matt Stichter （Stichter 2007）, who raises some questions about Annas’ interpretation, and examine the validity of his criticism. In doing so, I will pay special attention to the perspectives from which they discuss skills. In addition to Annas’ and Stichter’s discussion of the relationship between virtue and skill, I will show it is also necessary to consider more the relationship between skill and knack when thinking about them. | |||||||||||
