| 内容記述 | Grasslands had conventionally been an integral part of the rural economy to engage the primary sector, especially for the livestock farming community. Today, area of devoted grasslands is remarkably diminishing as a result of shifting economic structure blindly rushing to improve economical efficiency. Meanwhile, a new trend is also emerging to transvalue grasslands and its scarcity of valuable resource, bringing a movement of revitalizing such abandoned grasslands. This movement indirectly reflects the social impact of economic changes led by widespread use of advanced information and communication technologies and a mentally-stressful modern life. In conclusion, this study addresses the importance of participating the activities of grassland transvaluation movement, that is not only revitalizing variable natural environment and rural economy but also providing the opportunities for us to realize personal dignity and meaningful life through the grassland transvaluation activities. In other words, grasslands can be identified as an unique socioeconomic system to regain people's self-fullfillment, which was once left out of the economic boom but have been transformed to support the modern social and economic structures. | |||||||||||
