| 内容記述 | 小論では、このOC履修者が、熊大の1年次開講一般教育英語A(音声中心の基礎コース)でどのようなパフォーマンスを見せたかについて、筆者の(主に97年度後期開講の)担当授業でのデータをもとに、高校におけるOC履修は大学の一般教育英語の授業内容に何をもたらすのか、我々はそこから何を学び取らねばならないのか、などについて検討してみたいと思う。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This paper is a trial to make such continuity between them, in which at least the following points are clarified : (1) The Oral-Communication subjects tend to be given at rather earlier stages, that is, to the first or the second year students. (2) They are not always given to high school students, in spite of the direction of the Curricular Guidelines. Instead, some high schools replace them with grammar or writing classes for entrance examination. (3) The results from my mid-term examination of English Category A reveal that no special improvement of the listening skill in English is confirmed, and that on the whole the students lack the basic grasping of the English sounds. |
