| 内容記述 | We determined the conditions of an experimental method of collecting saliva with a cotton swab for the starch-decomposition experiment. We carried out the method on university students and did a questionnaire survey about the effect. We then compared it with a method of collecting saliva directly from the mouth. We found that using a cotton swab reduced the subject's feeling of resistance, especially with female students. In addition, the convenience of the experimental method raised student interest in further research experiments for determining the function of saliva. | |||||
