| 内容記述 | 本稿の目的はわが国では非常に新しいPositiv Deviance (PD)を紹介することである。私たち研究者は問題に着目し、問題そのものの理解や知識を求めるが、それだけでは有効な解決策を生みだすことはできない。PDはむしろ最善の解決策はコミュニティの中にあるとし、コミュニティに潜在する創造力や知恵に着目する。そのような解決策は社会の「当たり前」の基準から逸脱し顕在化していない。しかし問題に対して良い結果を生んでいても、それがコミュニティ内の他者より恵まれた資源があるからという理由であってはコミュニティ内の他者は実践できない。したがって、逸脱は他者と同様限られた資源しかもたない者に見られるものでなけらばならない。PDはこのように見出された行動（実践）を顕在化し、コミュニティ内に定着されていく。PDの概念は行き詰って解決策を見いだせないでいる複雑な社会課題に対して、発想の転換を提供する。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this article is to introduce the concept of Positive Deviance (PD), which is very new to Japan. Researchers tend to focus on problems or deficits and to face the challenge of finding and creating solutions. PD believes that solutions lie in the community from the asset-based viewpoint. However, such solutions, being away from the standard or the usual, are deviant and latent in the community. The deviant appreciates better outcomes not due to the better access to resources and should rather have as limited resources as the others do. Others can follow the deviant because s/he is in a similar situation with limited resources. PD tries to identify what the deviant is doing and to amplify it across the community. PD seems very useful in challenging stacked social problems, providing us with a new way of thinking. | |||||
