| 内容記述 | 本研究は、平成19年度から開始されたプロジェクトであり、熊本都市圏における地域政策を形成するために不可欠な政策基盤データを収集し、それを政策的な視点から問題を整理し、地図情報化などの手法を活用して視覚化、分析することを主要な目的としている。本稿では、まず熊本都市圏各市町村の将来推計人口から今後の人口変化の傾向を把握し、熊本都市圏における様々な施設の配置を人口との関連から分析した結果を報告する。さらに分析に用いたGISマップをもとに、役場庁舎の支所及び出張所の配置を検討する際のGISマップの活用法を例示し、その活用に向けた課題を整理した。市町村の地域政策においては、地域の実情を把握するに足りるだけの統計データが整備されていないのが現状であり、地域の実情に即したより効率的、効果的な政策決定を導くために、熊本都市圏を単位として統一された基準で継続的にデータを収集し蓄積できるような制度化が求められる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The main purpose of this study was to visualize and analyze the data fundamental to the Kumamoto Metropolitan Area regional policy on a map by using Geographical Information System (GIS). Based on the data of the population in the Area, the estimated population in the next few decades was projected and visualized on a GIS map. The relationship between the population estimates and various plant location was further analyzed. I explored the possibility of using such fundamental data for policy decision making while simulating the process of making decisions on locations for local government branch offices by utilizing GIS maps. The process clarified that statistics data necessary for the policy of cities, towns and villages are currently insufficient. Development of systems to collect the fundamental data is needed to make efficient and effective decisions for policies of the Kumamoto Metropolitan Area. | |||||
