| 内容記述 | 熊本市は透析者割合が全国1位であり、生活習慣病1件あたりの医療費も他の政令指定都市と比べて高騰しているという課題を抱えている。東区では今年度は市民と協働の健康づくりをテーマに「東区健康まちづくり」に取り組んでいる。「東区健康まちづくり」の目標の一つである、「住民が自分の健康を自ら管理する力を身につける」ためには、住民の健診結果を元に個人のニーズに応じた情報提供を行い、代謝障害や血管障害について具体的に学習し、将来の健康状態の予測ができるような説明を行うことが有効であった。また、もう一つの目標である「住民が予防行動の重要性を主体的に周りに発信していくことでより多くの住民への健康情報が伝達される」ためには、自分の健康状態について理解した住民自身が発信源となって、自分の所属する組織に情報を伝達したり、健康学習会を住民と行政が協働で企画実施することでより多くの住民へのアプローチが可能になると考える。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In Kumamoto city, the rate of renal failure patients is the worst in Japan, and medical costs for life-style related diseases are more rapidly increasing than other ordinance-designated cities. In 2012 we attempted to build an original approach to promoting resident's health in Higashi-ku. One of its aims was to increase residents' health literacy for them to stay healthy and well. To achieve this, we designed the approach with three components; 1) the health-checking sheet to provide each individual with information on their own status in an order-made manner, 2) the health education program about metabolic and vascular disease which allowed learners to better understand disease mechanisms and thus to increase their own motivation for self-care, and 3) the consultation by public health nurses for individuals to consider actions in maintaining their own health with a long term perspective. The approach cased the movements among the residents who were motivated enough to encourage their family members and friends to know more about health in their own community. Nourishing key persons while public health nurses and local government officials provide them with supports in planning and implementing health education programs and activities related to healthin communities can be very effective. | |||||
