| 内容記述 | Since the late 1910s, Haruo Sato has become a representative romantic writer in Japan. Sato's works had a great impact on Chinese writers studying in Japan around 1920. In addition, Sato's works have been translated into China by Zhou Zuoren since 1921, and a large number of translations have been produced in the following fourteen years. This paper draws the following conclusions by investigating the translation of Haruo Sato's works in China before the war. First of all, most of the translators who translate Sato's works are close to Zhou Zuoren. Sato's works have disappeared in Chinese newspapers since 1931. Apparently this is mainly because the Manchukuo incident, but another possible reason is the mainstream of Chinese literature has changed into modernist and Communist literature after 1930. | |||||
