| 内容記述 | 今後の超高齢化を迎えるわが国において、医療を中心とした社会保障のあり方について抜本的な対策が必要であることは自明とも言える。そのような中、平成20年に老人保健の仕組みに整合性と効率性を求めて、後期高齢者医療制度が施行され、5年が経過した。熊本県内の後期高齢者医療制度の被保険者の全人口に占める割合は、約4分の一近く、多額の公的財源を投下している。医療は必要な人に適切に提供されなければならない。そのためには、医療行動に影響を与えうるライフスタイルや社会環境に目を向ける必要があると思われる。医療への「フリーアクセス」を可能にする我が国の医療保険制度では特にこの観点が極めて重要であると言える。本稿では、熊本県の後期高齢者医療費に関連する社会環境についての示唆を得るために行った探査的な分析結果を報告する。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | It is clear that we need the fundamental changes in our social security systems centered on the medical insurance system in Japan. In the meantime, it has been five years since the medical insurance system for the elderly aged 75 or over was implemented in 2009. In Kumamoto, the percentage of the population who are covered by the elderly insurance system is about the fourth, and much public fund is spent to cover medical cost under the insurance system. The increase of the amount has been consistent, but the medical care needs to be appropriately provided to those needing. We need to discuss how to make it possible by analyzing the data with the perspectives beyond the medicine and health, such as with data on individuals', lifestyles and related social and environmental factors, This article reports the results of the exploratory analyses conducted to assess the relationship between the spent under the medical insurance system for the elderly aged 75 or over and social environmental factors using the data for Kumamoto prefecture. | |||||
